In our service group following devices are used for your MS-analysis:

(GC) EI-MS

QP2010 Ultra/SE Shimadzu, project instrument

GC coupled with Quadrupole mass spectrometer (gas chromatograph with electron (impact) ionization Quadrupole-MS) with automatic liner change; for headspace analysis and liquid injection (large volume).

TQ8040 Shimadzu, project instrument

GC coupled with Triple quadrupole mass spectrometer (gas chromatograph with electron (impact) ionization/chemical ionization quadrupole-MS); For headspace analysis, thermodesorption analysis, SPME, liquid injection, direct inlet and 2-D GC analysis.

MAT 95XP ThermoFinnigan (Thermo Scientific), service instrument

Sector field MS (double-focusing sector field MS with BE geometry with EI/DEI, CI/DCI and FAB ionization), optionally with the Trace GC Ultra (Thermo Scientific) for GC-MS analyses.

MAT 8230 Finnigan (Thermo Scientific), service instrument

EI sector field MS (electron (impact) ionization double-focusing sector field MS with BE geometry); For high and low resolution EI analyses.

6890/5973N Plus HP-MSD Agilent, project instrument

GC coupled with EI-quadrupole mass spectrometer (gas chromatograph with electron (impact) ionization and quadrupole MS); For GC-MS analyses.

Hapsite Inficon, project instrument

Portable GC coupled with a quadrupole mass spectrometer (gas chromatograph with electron (impact) ionization quadrupole MS). For mobile analysis of highly volatile component mixtures.

The instruments QP 2010 Ultra/SE Shimadzu, TQ 8040 Shimadzu and Hapsite Inficon have been shelved by the AG Verhaltensökologie an der Fakultät für Lebens-wissenschaften (Prof. Anja Wittig) and were supported by the Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung.
